Have you ever been to a place where time slows down, and nature gently wraps you in peace? 🌿That’s exactly how our trip to Ranchi and Netarhat:Offbeat Hill Station felt — a refreshing journey through the hills, pine forests, and waterfalls of Jharkhand. With the help of this amazing travel page, we planned our 4 nights, 5 days Ranchi–Netarhat tour, and it turned out to be one of our most memorable experiences ever.

Our Journey from Ranchi to Netarhat

We started our trip from Ranchi, where our car pickup was arranged. The road from Ranchi to Netarhat (about 5 hours) is nothing short of breathtaking — lush greenery, winding mountain roads, and occasional waterfalls make the journey itself a delight.

Stay at Netarhat – A Perfect Eco Stay Experience

There are several good stay options in Netarhat, from government guest houses to private resorts and eco stays.
But the one that stole our hearts was a beautiful Eco Stay nestled in solitude, surrounded by forests and hills.

Far away from the crowd, this stay truly made us feel one with nature. It perfectly reflected the untouched beauty of Netarhat — peaceful, green, and rejuvenating.

Best Places to Visit in Netarhat

Netarhat is known as the “Queen of Chotanagpur” — and rightly so! Here are some of the must-visit attractions:

🌿 Koel View Point – A scenic spot to watch the river flow through the valley.
🌿 Sunrise Point – Where mornings begin with golden rays over misty hills.
🌿 Sunset Point – One of the most famous places to capture the magical twilight.
🌿 Shale House – A charming colonial structure with historic charm.
🌿 Nashpati Bagan (Pear Orchard) – A lovely green stretch perfect for nature walks.
🌿 Ghaghri Waterfall – A peaceful waterfall just a short drive away.
We also made a day trip to Lodh Waterfall, the tallest and most majestic waterfalls in Jharkhand. During the monsoon, its roaring beauty was absolutely spellbinding!

Walking Through Netarhat – A Day of Pure Calm

One evening, we decided to explore the town on foot — and it turned out to be the best decision.

The red-soil paths, lines of pine trees, cool mountain breeze, and the quiet charm of the small hill town made us fall in love all over again. It felt like walking through a postcard — peaceful, nostalgic, and soul-soothing.
