It all started on a lazy Friday evening.

After checking in and grabbing lunch, we headed straight for the swimming pool.
My brother’s son and I spent almost an hour in the water while my brother relaxed by the poolside.
As the sun began to set, we walked to the Maithon Dam.
The golden light reflecting on the calm water, the breeze blowing softly — it was one of those moments you just want to pause and soak in forever.

The next morning, we decided to explore nearby attractions.
Baranti and Garh Panchakot are both within short driving distance — surrounded by hills, forests, and small villages.
It’s a beautiful ride, especially if you love offbeat destinations and scenic landscapes.

The food here truly deserves a mention!
They serve simple, homely meals — light yet full of flavor.
There are two packages — Chicken and Mutton — and we went with the Mutton one.
It was so good that we cleaned up every plate. 😋
