From mountain trails to MG Marg lanes — we blended fashion, peace, and adventure in the heart of Sikkim.
We love staycations — that’s why whenever I plan long-distance or offbeat trips, I always go with Izifiso. They understand my travel taste — the mix of comfort, beauty, and a bit of style!
This time, two couples decided to explore the magic of East and South Sikkim, blending travel with a touch of fashion.
Day 1 – Journey to Rongli
We started our trip from NJP and headed toward Rongli. The last 2 km of the road tested our patience — bumpy and rough — but once we reached, it felt absolutely worth it! The stay was peaceful, the mountain view was stunning, and the silence around us made us forget every bit of the road struggle.
Day 2 – The Coldest Yet Most Colorful Day
This was the most exciting and important day of our trip. We visited Zuluk, Nathang Valley, and the majestic Nathula Pass.
Pro tip: Carry your voter ID card, as it’s the only valid document for permits in this region.
From New Baba Mandir to Old Baba Mandir, Kupup Lake, and the iconic zigzag road, every turn felt like a postcard come alive.
And yes — our colorful outfits made both me and my mountains look more vibrant than ever! ❄️✨
It was also the coldest day of our journey, but definitely the most memorable one.
Day 3 – Exploring Gangtok
After all that mountain adventure, Day 3 was calm and cozy. We explored Gangtok’s MG Marg, tried delicious Sikkimese food, and indulged in a bit of local shopping. The city’s blend of tradition and modernity was just perfect.
Day 4 Onward – Lamthang Stay & South Sikkim Beauty
Next, we headed toward Pelling, mainly to experience the famous Skywalk, but instead of staying there, we chose Lamthang — for its incredible views and homely stay experience.
From Namchi Chardham to the mesmerizing Kanchanjungha Waterfall, every stop added a new color to our story.
Each day, we wore something different — because our motto was simple:
“7 Days, 7 Colors” — blending fashion and mountains together.
A trend we believe will soon catch on!
